THE WALK
New York's first suburb,
up close.
In 1839 Brooklyn Heights became New York's first suburb, and it still feels like a village hiding inside the city. We walk tree-lined blocks of brownstones, pass the church where abolitionists plotted, and end on the Promenade with the whole skyline in front of us.
This is a story walk, not a lecture. Small groups, an easy pace, and plenty of time for your questions.
